Renewable Energy Maldives Private Limited (REM) was established in 2007 with the purpose of helping the Maldives to reduce its over reliance on fossil fuel for its energy needs.
To achieve this objective, REM is active in the following areas:

• Installing wind turbine systems,
• Promoting and distributing energy efficient equipment,
• Planning and executing energy management programs tailored to a client's specific needs,
• Promoting the need for saving energy
